1. Handwashing: It’s best to handwash handmade ceramic mugs with a soft sponge or cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrub brushes that could scratch the glaze.
2. Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Ceramic mugs should not be subjected to sudden changes in temperature, such as going from hot to cold rapidly, as this can cause them to crack.
3. Staining: Some ceramic glazes can stain if left with coffee or tea stains for too long. Regular cleaning after use helps prevent this.
4. Surface Care: Avoid scratching the surface of the ceramic with metal utensils. Use wooden or plastic stirrers if needed.
